KC Shenanigans

The girls and I took a trip to visit our friends in Kansas City for a few days, while daddy was in the midst of football season.  We had a great time!  We met up with Will, Megan, and Liz at the zoo for our first outing.

First stop - potty break (and photo op!)
We watched to sea lion show and the kids had a great time running around and playing afterwards, while Liz and I fed the babies.
What is down there?
Playing chase...and it begins....
Will trying to hug Ava.

Sweet Vivian.
Crazy kiddos.
I think they were pretending to be reindeers here. I think.

Excited to see the train.

Lunch time!
The gorillas were all out basking in the sun.

Taking a ride to Africa on the tram.

Playtime at the Indellicate house...
Vivian, 7 months old.
Checking out Megan's book.

The next day we headed to the Deanna Rose Pumpkin patch - our third year in a row.  So fun!
Hayride out to the patch.
Everyone had fun in the corn bins.

Pumpkin tipping....Ava's favorite fall event.

The whole crew.

Time out is no fun.
Climbing up the hay bales to slide down the slide.

Last year, the train was her absolute favorite thing.  This year, she was THAT kid.  She started crying just after this picture was taken.
Making their way through the corn maze.
Picking out the perfect pumpkin is hard work.  She picked out one for each of us.

We got to visit the Steffens, too.  The girls had a great time playing in their awesome playroom.

Until next time, KC.  Hopefully it will be sooner than later!
