Josh holding his sleepy girl at church - she loves falling asleep in his arms each week during worship. |
Well, September was the beginning of football season for us. Josh was super busy, like always, with practice, meetings, and games twice a week. We didn't make it to as many games as I would have liked, mostly due to only having three home games this year, but also because bedtime was the same as game time. Ava had a great time at the games, and made friends everywhere she went - from parents of the players and community supporters, all the way to the high school kids that Josh teaches. She even had her own Bulldog cheerleading outfit (thanks to Tammy Ball)! She had a great time checking out the Bulldog mascot and watching the cheerleaders, as well as watching and cheering with the game. Anyone seen "Remember the Titans"? That's my girl, complete with the curls. Vivian spent her game time in my Ergo carrier, usually sleeping through the entire first half. The highlight of each game was definitely seeing the girls' faces as they spotted their daddy at halftime. So, so sweet.

This girl loves her Cinderella doll. Thanks Cash family! |

She loves her art, and her new art desk from Mimi and Papa. |

First trip with both of the kiddos sitting in the cart - thanks, Sam's, for making shopping easier. |
These girls just absolutely love each other, and it melts my heart every single day.

Ava and the caterpillar that she smuggled into my car...and then the house. And then lost it in the house. She is obsessed with these things. |

We celebrated Papa Chuck's birthday at the local hibachi grill. Ava loved using the chopsticks for the first time - she is a pro already!
We had a great time going for a nature walk with Nickie and Kirth too. Ava loved throwing rocks into the water and finding lots of creepy crawly bugs.
