A Trip to DeAnna Rose...Just the 5 of Us?!

While our dear friends the Indellicates were off to Florida for the birth of their second child, we had the awesome privilege of taking Will to the DeAnna Rose farmstead for a morning!  So fun!  And really, 3 didn't seem any more difficult than 2!
On our way....the DVD player saves the day.

Broke out the double stroller.  This thing is a-mazing!  Plenty of room, easy to push and maneuver.  AND it kept the kiddos contained.  Perfect!
This cow got out and ran amok around the farm.  It was hilarious watching the city people trying to shoo this large animal back to his pen.  And all of us city folk stood around and gawked like we had never seen a cow before.  It took around 6 people to get him back to where he belonged.  I guess we are easily amused.

Watching the cow run.  Entertaining for everyone.

Vivian slept most of the morning in the Ergo carrier.  Love this thing, it's been a lifesaver with 2 kiddos.
Feeding the goats here. It was fun to see the difference 6 months makes.  Last fall, Will was timid feeding the goats - but this time he got after it like a champ and had no fear!  My fearless 2 year old, however, was much more cautious than she had ever been before.

Kids hugging the kidd!

Snack time!  What kiddo isn't obsessed with these applesauce packs?
Feeding the ducks.

Bonus material: Our last trip to the KC Zoo.

Carousel fun.
Checking out the birds.  We had never seen them before - I love that we see something new almost every time that we go!
Feeding the deer.  She is obsessed with feeding any animal that she can.  We have to remember the quarters!!

Ropes time.  Daddy was proud.
Sliding with daddy.
And feeding the goats too....
