Ava's First Snow

2 years old and finally experiencing snow for the first time.  It snowed a bit the winter after she was born, but being just a few months old she obviously doesn't remember.  Last year we didn't get even as much as a snowflake (I'm not complaining, it was a beautifully mild winter).  So this year we prepared and hoped for the best - snow coat, boots, coveralls.  I just forgot the warm mittens (hers were not so great at keeping her little fingers warm). 

The moment that she caught sight of the powdery fluff, she was so excited and could not wait to go play in it.  Let me tell you, it was so frigid outside that she lasted longer than I did.  Josh broke out the new sled, and those two had a blast.

Checking out the neighborhood.  It's full of kids but even that day was too cold for them to go outside!
