Week in Review

Just some random fun things from the last week (or two)....

The weather has been AMAZING!  Yes, I will take 50-60s over snow and frigid any day! Love, love, love this January weather - what a blessing!

 She even took the new 4-wheeler out for a spin.

And Ava's favorite new thing is helping me cook.  So I put her on a chair next to me, give her a spoon, and let her "help."  Until this morning when she repeatedly licked the pancake batter spoon - with raw eggs.  Whoops.

And then there was Spirit week at school.  Although I had good intentions in sending Ava in a perfect outfit to celebrate each fun day, including an "Awesome Ava" cape for superhero day, life got in the way like usual.  I guess 2 out of the 5 days aren't bad.

 Will (our godson) turned TWO this week.  Can you believe it?  Where has the time gone??!

 Of course, being the big girl she thinks she is, Ava has decided that she needs to put on makeup like her mama....

And Ava's vocabulary has continued to explode, and it simply amazes me.  Some of her new words and sentences this week - "jacket," "stick," and "mine," and the new frequent favorite "What is it?" or "Who is it?"  Yesterday morning she woke up in our bed, pointed to the TV and said "Elmo? Elmo? I wanna watch it."  She likes to tell us that the duck says "ack ack" and the dogs say "ruff ruff," along with many other animal noises.  I think that her favorite is to show off her "tummy" to everyone around her (to daddy's dismay!).
