November 2013

November found us knee-deep in football play-offs and lots of fun family time.  The girls kept growing and growing - Vivian turned 9 months old!

Ava's new favorite past time - coloring.  Especially with markers, and anything that is not actually supposed to be colored on.

Vivian's funny faces....this girl is such a comedian already.  She makes us laugh every, single day.

Nightly dance parties happened....and Vivian started pulling up on the couch and bouncing to the music.  Even her teachers said that she started dancing whenever they turned the music on at school.  And Ava continued to perfect her slick dance moves.

Dance parties are always followed by daddy snuggle time.

Sisterly hugs, love, and wrestling.

Ava and her new haircut....doesn't she look SO grown up?!!
And we celebrated daddy's birthday.  Ava colored a picture for him and wrote her name on it.  She picked out a football cake at the store, too.

Spaghetti night - Ahhhhhhh!

We enjoyed taking lots of trips to the library, and had fun at story and music time too.

Oh, this girl and her bugs.  Obsessed with caterpillars, she is.  She smuggled this one (of many) into the house.  (I found at least 3 dead ones randomly throughout the month, one was even in the laundry.)

We even talked Mimi into taking a quick trip to KC one afternoon to see the new penguin exhibit.  So fun!

Bedtime snuggles are the best....

A Family First - Silver Dollar City

Christmastime at Silver Dollar City....I have always wanted to experience it.  In case you don't know, I LOVE Christmas.  Seriously, it can never come too soon or last long enough.  It is the most amazing, wonderful, beautiful, perfect time of the year.  So to go to a place that has thousands of miles of Christmas lights and Christmas spirit EVERYWHERE - well, I think SO!

We were so lucky to have picked a really nice November day, too.

Waiting to go in.  We may have gotten there an hour early because I did not look to see what time the park opened.  Oops.

Yay! We made it!

So we headed to eat as soon as we walked in.  This girl, and her faces.  Oh my the cuteness.

My favorite Ava girl.  I am so lucky to be these girls' mamma!!

We checked out this huge tree house where you can shoot balls out everywhere, go down slides, and climb climb climb.  As you can see, there weren't a lot of people there!

Making music, and dad showing her how to work the gun.  She was a pro in no time.

Tall enough to ride!

First amusement park ride, ever.  We chose well with the flying elephants.  She loved pushing the button to go up!

Daddy's girl for sure.

This was her favorite ride!

Navigating....

And practicing our funny funny faces.

Family photo.  Watching the Frosty the Snowman show.
This is will have to be a new Dalton family tradition.  We had sooo much fun!!
