Memorial Weekend

We spent Memorial weekend with my parents, visiting Parsons briefly and the spending time with my wonderful family at the Lake.  We celebrated my wonderful Uncle Bill's 70th birthday!

So Josh taught Ava how to use the hose to spray water.  Now her favorite thing is to spray us

Grandpa trying to hide from the lady with the waterhose.

 Look at that mischievous smile!

 Blowing bubbles with grandpa...

We spent some time at the Parsons Katy Days festival.  Riding the "choo choo" was Ava's favorite.

Petting zoo, checking out the animals.

You want me to hold what??!
"Oh, a bunny foo foo.  Yeah, I'll hold that..."

Saw the "choo choo" from the slide.

First time on the merry-go round.  It was a hit!

We spent the rest of our trip at the lake.  Unfortunately, I really forgot to take pictures.  So here are the few I did take.

Ava playing with Canon.  What an awesome cousin!!

Wait, what is this??

That's right, I was only interested in the ice.  What were YOU thinking?  I'm just a baby!

Random Family F-U-N

We have been busy, busy, busy lately - which I love!  We now have a zoo pass and a pool pass - summer fun here we come!  So here are our recent adventures and outings together as a family!

One of the best things about summer time, is that Josh has more time off and we can do things as a family during the week.  We took a family day a few weeks ago and had a family lunch at Fritz's, and enjoyed the afternoon at Deanna Rose, another favorite location.
Still unsure about the goats...
Riding in style!
Checking out the ducks.
Ringing the bells

Yes, hello?  I would like some fries with that, please!
Sitting in the train at Fritz's...not a fan when it was actually on!
"Choo Choo!"
Loved the phone, if you couldn't tell!

And this last week we took a family trip to the zoo, followed by our first trip to the pool of the year.  Ava LOVED the water.  She insisted on going down the shark slide about 50 times, and walked all over the wave pool.

The polar bear, Nikita.  These two could watch the bear swim for hours.

Riding the tram to Africa.
Tram ride.  She was mesmerized.

Snack time!
Beautiful, beautiful princess.
I love it when she holds my hand.
The meerkats were cute!
And the lions were close!
We finally decided to brave the Sky-tram.  She did well until the end...then she tried to climb out. Glad Josh was there.

Until next time....

Swim time!

Loving the wave pool with dad.

And a few other randoms....
Piggy back ride while leaving church...and yes she insisted on wearing the beads.
Diva in training.

New finger paints.
